I have been working on several little projects to accessorize my kitchen, most of which came from some very talented bloggers. I decided to do an Inspiration Week in which I share with all of you a different project each day. On Friday, I'll reveal my entire new kitchen that I updated on a very strict budget.
To my first project--
I absolutely have a sick obsession with monograms and family names. I know, how many can you possibly put up in your house, right?? I came across this idea on Imperfectly Beautiful and knew I must make one. If you haven't visited her site, check it out! She has amazing ideas!!
My new kitchen has been pretty bare--lack of accessories and lack of money to purchase new ones. So a much needed trip to GoodWill produced a simple, black frame ($.99) for this adorable project.
I dusted off my Cricut and cut the letters using the Alphalicious cartridge and some black vinyl. I added some light blue scrapbook paper for the background.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Cheap and easy to make!
Here's the new accessory on my counter!
Very nice way to put your Cricut to good use!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked my silhouette tutorial! It probably will be a bit of a challenge getting a toddler to sit still for it...if I think of any tips, I'll definitely let you know. :) I actually did my teensy daughter's (she was about 3 months old at the time) by taking a pic of her lying down with her face to the side. Do you think your daughter would cooperate for something like that?
Take care!
So cute! I really like the way yours turned out. Alphalicious is one of my favorite fonts! Thanks for the shout out!
