There, I did it-- I admitted it.

I also must admit that I'm a sucker for monograms too. I mean how many S's can I have in one house?? With such a busy week for us, I was still able to complete a project off of my "To-Do" list. I have been wanting to do this for awhile.

Remember this adorable mirror I scored on sale at Kirkland's? Well, I love it on my mantel and use it display my holiday decor. But, when we are between holidays, it looks a tad bare. So, I didn't want this beauty to be naked any longer.

Enter my addiction to monograms!

New treasures = new projects

This past weekend was our town's annual garage sales. I absolutely love having a garage sale and watching people buy your old stuff. It's funny, every year I am surprised by the true "junk" that sells first! The stuff I would think is a true treasure, ends up being packed away for the next garage sale!

Either way, as always, I sold a lot of our stuff, but I also acquired some more from scouting out the sales with my sis-in-law and mom-in-law.

These gorgeous urns were only $2.50 each. I absolutely LOVE them and now am trying to find the perfect spot for them.

Now this cute, little desk for my daughter was only $.50!!!! Can you believe it? I even asked the lady, "Are you sure you only want $.50 for this?" So this was by far my best steal of the day.
